Procedure For Receiving Payments
Let’s move on and now talk about what will be the procedure for receiving payments this time. So first of all, let me give you the good news that the waiting hours are over because BISP is starting to provide payments through bank accounts from this time. Therefore, for all such beneficiaries who will visit BISP’s payment center to receive their payments this time, their bank accounts will be opened there first. And as soon as the bank account is opened, the payments will be transferred to their account, after which they will be able to withdraw their payments by going to any retailer shop.
Here below, I will provide all the necessary details for your complete guidance as to what the procedure is for opening a bank account and which documents you will need for this. So if you want to receive your payments on time, you will have to understand this procedure well.
Account Opening Procedure And Required Documents
It is mandatory for all BISP beneficiaries to open a bank account to receive their payments. For this purpose, you must have an identity card and a mobile phone number. Because these bank accounts are being opened only at the payment centers established by BISP, which are called campsites, it is very important to keep a few important things in mind before going to the campsite.
Check the SIM limit
First of all, check how many SIMs are registered in your name. If you already have five SIMs registered in your name, then there will be a problem in opening a bank account. In this case, you will have to close one SIM before going to the campsite.
Expiration of identity card
Make sure that your identity card has not expired. If the card has expired, first get it renewed from NADRA; otherwise, your account will not be opened.
Fingerprint Verification
Biometric verification is required to open a bank account. If there is any problem with your fingerprints for any reason, then visit the NADRA office and get your fingerprints updated before going to the campsite.
Action at the campsite
When you go to the campsite after completing all the documents and conditions, the BISP and bank representatives present there will first open your bank account. As soon as the account is opened, your payments will be transferred directly to this account. In this way, you will be able to receive your money very easily and will avoid any hassle.
Special Assistance For Flood Victims
As you know, the last time there was a flood situation in the country, BISP and the government provided special financial assistance of Rs.25,000 to the flood victims. Keeping this in mind, many flood victims are asking whether BISP is going to provide any special assistance to the flood victims this time too or not. So, for the complete guidance of all such flood victims, let me clarify that no matter has been finalized between BISP and the government so far. Therefore, it would be premature to say that this time too, any special assistance will be provided by BISP. This makes it clear that this time no special financial assistance is being provided along with the payments of the Kafalat program.
Final Words
After a long wait, finally the July-September installment of the Benazir Kafalat Program by BISP is going to be released regularly from tomorrow. This time too, to make the payment system transparent, payments are being provided by BISP in 3 phases. Prioritizing the flood-affected areas, 53 districts have been included in the first phase, where payments will start being received regularly from tomorrow. In this article, I have explained the names of all these 53 districts and the new method of receiving payments for your complete guidance. Along with this, I have also told you for your guidance whether BISP will provide any special financial assistance to the flood-affected families this time or not. I hope this article will definitely prove beneficial for you.
